Brand New School reached out to me in February to take part in the design stage for ad for Cisco’s Cloud service. The brief consisted of different interpretations of clouds that represent part of the service or a feature of it. I was specifically tasked with making the “Flower” Clouds, which would go on to represent a diversity of hybrid and native ‘clouds’ belonging to the same ecosystem. The approach fluctuated between more abstracted representations of flowers and foliage and more literal/realistic ones. The following video is the final result, after which I’m showing some of the explorations and approaches I took during the R&D phase.
